Kent Record Management has a passionate, highly skilled, and dedicated management team.

Owners


Greg started working for Kent Record Management in 1987 as its first full-time courier. Since then he has been involved in every aspect of the business. His current responsibilities include general oversight of operations, marketing, security, information technology and facilities management.

Greg has been a member of ARMA international since 1996 and currently serves on the board for the West Michigan chapter of ARMA. He has been involved in youth ministry, worship band, mission trips and various committees at his church.



Rick was hired to do the sales and marketing for Kent Record Management in September of 1987 after serving in sales and management positions at the former Acme Bedding (now Jonathan Stevens Stores), the Advance Newspapers and A. L. Williams. Rick has owned other businesses such as West Side Bay Station and Chick'n Lick'n in Jenison.

Rick earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University. He is the 1998, 2006, 2007 and 2008 past President of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, a member of the Governing Board at his church and has served on various church committees.



Dan serves as operational facilitator. Four years as a middle school educator preceded his nineteen year role with Kent Record Management. Dan is a graduate of Calvin College with a B.A. in secondary education.



Lori began working for the company at its inception in September 1981. At times, she worked on a part-time basis, taking time to raise her two children. In April of 1997, she became one of the four present owners of Kent Record Management Inc. Her principal responsibilities involve all of the financial aspects of the company.

Management



Andrew is the Executive Director at Kent Record Management, Inc. and previously held the position of Director of IT. He has been with Kent Records since 2007. He has presented on information privacy at the national PRISM conference and on the topics of electronic record management and project management at local ARMA and AITP chapters. Andrew is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Record Management candidate, and holds various certifications from Microsoft, AIIM, CompTIA, and others. Andrew has a Master Science in Administration with a concentration in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, and is an adjunct professor at Davenport University under the School of Technology.



Rick has been with Kent Record Management since 1990. Rick is responsible for the oversight of KRM operations in Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. He is committed to ensuring our staff is continuously trained and committed to customer service and to having an efficient operation. He has built and maintained many strong business relationships with our clients during his years with KRM.



Eric started at KRM in 2001 as a courier and worked in fleet maintenance. After six years he moved into an operations position in the Grand Rapids record center. Eric is responsible for ensuring customers serviced out of Grand Rapids are processed accurately and timely.

Eric enjoys hunting, fishing, bowling and golf. He also enjoys relaxing in his cabin up north with his family.



Mike started at KRM in 2001 as a courier and worked in the record center. After seven years he moved into the transportation supervisor position in the Grand Rapids record center.

Mike enjoys spending time with his family.



Derek started at KRM in 2001 as a courier and moved into vault operations in 2003. He was promoted to Vault Supervisor in 2009.

Derek enjoys spending time with his family.



B.J. joined KRM in January of 2010. He is responsible for the IT infrastructure of KRM for both internal and external customers.

B.J. has a diverse background in IT including network and system administration, IT planning, system design, security analysis, disaster recovery, and IT compliance. He is a 2005 graduate of Davenport University where he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Networking. He serves as Vice President for the West Michigan AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals).



Brian has been managing our Lansing location since 1998 and brings with him over 20 years in warehousing/management experience. He is responsible for customer relations and route scheduling as well as the shipping and receiving of files/boxes/x-rays.

He enjoys traveling, camping and spending time with his family.


Phil implements all aspects of daily operations, including customer service and sales. He has served Kent Record Management since 1990.

Phil previously owned and operated a five hundred acre cash crop farm for ten years. He also served the U.S. Army as part of the First Armored Division stationed in Germany and was called back for active service in Desert Storm.


Adam joined KRM through the acquisition of Total Records Solutions in 2011. Adam was the VP of Operations at Total Records Solutions and ensured their operations ran efficiently for all of their clients. He has managed three companies in the last ten years including effina Inc. Adam’s experience in document imaging will assist KRM and Kent Imaging in ensuring the right imaging solution is delivered to our clients. Adam is a 1992 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.



Sales



Steve Miedema started working with KRM in 2010 and was hired to work with businesses to improve their operational workflows, make cost effective decisions, and achieve strategic goals using technology and knowledge from a diverse business background.

With over 25 years of business management experience and strong knowledge of what causes stress to business owners, managers and their employees, he applies the services KRM offers to bring organization to every business, reduce their overhead expenses and provide peace of mind.




Ben joined KRM through the acquisition of Total Records Solutions in 2011. Ben was the President and CEO of Total Records Solutions for 11 years. His extensive background in document imaging and business management experience is a great complement to the suite of record management services offered through KRM. Ben specializes in the healthcare industry and has helped other industries with cost effective and high quality document imaging solutions.




Tom has been employed by KRM since 2000. He serves as the on staff Compliance Consultant as a member of the Professional Services department, is a Certified HIPAA Professional and has received education in Security Compliance. He has spent more than 2 years marketing and performing employee HIPAA trainings for the records and information management industry. This training also speaks to other regulatory matters such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach Bliley, FACTA, and PCI-DSS, and is inclusive of information destruction and scanning companies. He has traveled internationally as a guest speaker and as a trainer, while also presenting many sessions for PRISM International, ARMA, and AITP. His duties include ensuring KRM’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations through policies, procedures, audits, documentation, planning and implementing compliance solutions, and to offer his services to our clients. He continues to work with other RIM companies and their clients to help them regarding compliance matters.

Tom enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing drums at church.
